Ascent Wall Steps
$97.99
More wall. More theirs.
Four jute-faced climbing steps that push the vertical run higher — and give your cat a scratch surface on every single step up.
A cat that has vertical territory is categorically calmer than one that doesn't. The Ascent Wall Steps give your indoor cat a route up — four wall-mounted climbing steps with jute scratch panels on the face of each one, so the climbing and the scratching happen in the same motion. Install template and hardware included. For the indoor-cat owner who has started googling cat walls at midnight and knows that this is, in some sense, inevitable.

Ascent Wall Steps
$97.99
Four steps of vertical territory
Each step is a claim — your cat's territory grows upward, which is how cats prefer it.
Jute scratch panels on every step
Redirects scratching to the climb itself — no separate scratcher needed near the wall.
Install template included
Takes the measurement guesswork out. Mark, drill, mount — the template handles spacing for you.
Pairs with Pialouge Entry Steps
Designed to extend an existing wall run. Add the Ascent Steps when your cat has outgrown the starting point.
An indoor cat with nowhere to go up is a bored cat with nowhere to direct that energy except horizontally across your furniture. Vertical territory isn't a luxury — it's basic cat spatial logic. The cat that owns a wall goes there instead of going everywhere. Four steps. Jute scratch surface. Hardware included. The midnight browsing ends here.
"My cat went absolutely wild for this. First toy in months that held her attention past the first five minutes."
Sarah M.
"Solid build quality, arrived quickly. Does exactly what it says. Our 3-year-old tabby can't get enough."
James T.
Common questions
Can I use these as a standalone wall piece?▾
Yes — they work as a standalone climbing route to any high surface. They're also designed to extend an existing wall run, particularly alongside the Pialouge Entry Wall Steps.
How much weight can each step hold?▾
Each step is load-tested to 12 kg. Stud mounting is recommended for cats over 5 kg or for high-use routes.
Is the jute scratch surface replaceable?▾
Yes — replacement jute panels are available. Most cats get 12–18 months from the original surface before significant wear.
Can I use these for a senior cat?▾
The step spacing can be adjusted for shorter strides. Senior cats with joint issues may find the Apex Perch Lounge (which includes a platform destination) a better fit for access to a single high spot.
Do they come with hardware?▾
Yes — full hardware kit and installation template included. You need a drill and a level. Most installations take under 30 minutes.
What's the maximum height they can be mounted?▾
There's no ceiling limit — mount as high as you'd like your cat to go. Standard setups run from 12 inches off the floor up to ceiling height, with steps at 8–10 inch intervals.
