Does it require wall studs?▾
For cats under 5 kg, drywall anchors (included) are sufficient. For heavier cats or a high-traffic route, stud mounting is strongly recommended. Each step is rated to 12 kg when properly mounted.
Can I pair it with the Ascent Wall Steps?▾
Yes — they're designed to work together. The Pialouge Entry Steps start the route at a lower entry angle; the Ascent Steps extend it higher. Both are available as a set in the Wall Life Entry Duo bundle.
Is the jute scratch surface replaceable?▾
The jute panels wear with use over time. Contact us for replacement panels — we offer them separately. Most cats get 12–18 months before the surface is significantly worn.
What finish does the wood have?▾
Natural wood finish with a light protective coat — no harsh chemicals, no strong smell. Safe for cats who chew wood edges.
Is it suitable for kittens?▾
Yes. Start with the lowest step and let them climb at their own pace. Most kittens master all four steps within a few days.
How far apart should I space the steps?▾
8–10 inches vertically between steps suits most cats. The included template guides placement for a comfortable stride. Adjust slightly for senior cats or kittens.
